TOKYO–( BUSINESS WIRE )–Shiseido (TOKYO:4911) has signed a joint venture agreement with PT Sinar Mas Tunggal, a group company of Indonesian conglomerate Sinar Mas Group. Shiseido Co., Ltd. and Sinar Mas Group will own 65% and 35% shares of PT Shiseido Cosmetics Indonesia, respectively.
In the Indonesian market, which offers great growth potential, Shiseido will strive to increase sales by continuing to promote the global SHISEIDO brand, which is promoted worldwide, as well as by increasing the focus on the masstige.
